Deciding on your event...

• Check your year group's allocated term slot: 

  • Yr 3 Ash - Autumn 1

  • Yr 4 Lime - Autumn 2

  • Yr 1 Oak  -Spring 1

  • Yr 5 Lime - Spring 2

  • Yr 2 Ash - Summer 1

  • Yr 6 Elder - Summer 2 (After SAT's)​

• Step 1: Arrange to meet with your year group to discuss or ask for ideas and hold a poll on your WhatsApp group to decide on an event and an after school sale.

​

• Step 2: Meet with your class teacher to confirm your ideas and availability (including the hall if required). They will act as your Point of Contact if you need to confirm anything with the school but will not form part of your organising team.

​

• Step 3: Fill in this form with the details of your proposed events and some suggested dates. This will help ensure that events aren’t repeated as well as not being too close together. 

​

• Step 3: Once your event and date have been confirmed create it on Classlist (How to here) and start communicating/promoting to the School! 

​

• Step 4: Ensure you have the following for your event:

  • At least 1 Paediatric First aider for any event for the children. 

  •  At least 1  general first aider for a parent-focused event. 

  • At least 1 CRB checked volunteer 

  • If the event includes alcohol you will need a TENS licence as well as permission from the governors.

• Step 5: Keep receipts for any expenses so they can be reimbursed after the event

​

The following is a list of events the  core team are already planning to lead next year, alongside being part of their own children's forms fundraising initiatives. We welcome each and every offer of help from those who want to get involved and additional support is always much appreciated!​​
