What a Wonderful Day at Bentworth Fete! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year's Bentworth Fete such a success.

We were delighted that the fete was officially opened by Jess Rowe, the inspirational Pacific Ocean rower who visited St Mary's earlier this year to share her incredible story with the children. It was wonderful to welcome her back and have her help launch such a fantastic community event.

The PTA children's stalls raised £249.40, but their contribution goes far beyond the money raised. They help create the fun, family atmosphere that makes the fete such a special occasion and encourages families to stay, enjoy everything on offer and support the event as a whole.

From the fantastic stalls and delicious refreshments to the entertainment and games, the day was a real community effort. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who volunteered, donated and came along, the fete raised thousands of pounds, with a significant contribution going directly to St Mary's Primary School.

To everyone who gave their time, donated prizes, baked cakes, ran stalls, or simply came along to support the day – thank you. Events like this are only possible because of the incredible local community we belong to, and we're so grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable day.

We can't wait to do it all again next year! 💙
